Knowing in the clear morning,
This could be the last breath standing
Gives braver,
special hearts freedom’s conviction,
To do what must be done.
The youngest
hearts of lasting loyalty
Take hand in brothers and sisters against terror.
A job requirement
in America’s country
Only with freedom is all that one can be.
And where
our soldiers go-our country goes,
Hearts and minds are elastic in battled concerts.
We all can
not walk with you today,
Only stand firmly behind, with prayers our weapons of peace.
Dear soldiers,
in your silent sacred thoughts, pray know
Americans will stand their mirrored posts
Keeping watch
for freedom undeterred
And terror in the sand.
